The PEI Junior Honours Choir, now in its sixth year, is proud to present its annual gala featuring grades 4 to 6 students from Souris to Alberton.
This enrichment offering, supported by the PEI Department of Education, Early Learning and Culture and enabled by each student’s music teacher, showcases students who have shown exemplary musical ability, cooperativeness, and focus. The choir will have the opportunity to work with highly esteemed choral conductor, Dr. Janet Brenneman, from the Canadian Mennonite University, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
This highly anticipated event will showcase over one-hundred and forty children’s voices from 20 schools across PEI. This year’s concert also features special guests, the MRHS choir under the direction of Christie Beck, and Harmonia Girls Choir under the direction of Kelsea MacLean.
It will be held on Saturday, March 10th, from 2:30-3:30, at Park Royal Church in Charlottetown. Storm date for this event is March 17, 2018 from 2:30 - 3:30. This concert is open to the public; admission is by donation.
