EXHIBITIONS
The exhibition Yesterday, Today (A Portrait of Summerside) with oil paintings by artist Eddy Schwartz continues on until May 11th. The exhibit portrays Summerside homes, buildings and churches with thirty-six paintings that take you on a tour to view the proud architectural landmarks of the city. The annual ArtsSmarts exhibition “Open your Mind and Learn through the Arts” takes place from 15 May to May 25th, with art projects from various schools across the island. The Centre is open from Tuesday to Friday from 10 to 4, and 12 to 4 on Sunday. Admission is by donation. The on-site gift shop carries only Island art and craft, as well as books on local themes. Don’t miss the permanent exhibition on the history and architecture of Summerside, too. Eptek Art & Culture Centre is a site of the Prince Edward Island Museum and Heritage Foundation and is located at 130 Heather Moyse Drive on the Summerside waterfront, adjacent to the Harbourfront Theatre.
