The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved an increase of 5.5 cents per litre in the price of gasoline, which took effect Friday morning. The price of furnace oil went up by 13.8 cents per litre. The price of diesel jumped up 14.2 cents per litre. Including taxes, pump prices for regular self-serve gas now range from 176.2 to 177.3 cents per litre. Prices for diesel range from 216.4 to 217.6 cents per litre. The maximum price for furnace oil is 166.5 cents per litre. Propane price adjustments range from no change at all to a decrease of 3.5 cents per litre. Propane now costs you between 92.6 and 95.6 cents per litre.
