The UPEI men’s hockey Panthers honoured longtime 50/50 ticket seller and supporter Harry James in a pre-game ceremony, last night at the MacLauchlan Arena.
James passed away at age 81 in May this year.
He was also known as one of the best appliance repairmen on the Island and for his many years of a magnificent Christmas lights display at his home in Stratford.
His sons Mike and Todd and daughter Melissa were among 15 family members who took part in the ceremony.
The 50/50 will now be known as the Harry James 50/50 at all Panthers home games.
