The RCMP Queens Street Crime Unit and RCMP Federal Organized Crime Unit carried out a search warrant at a residence in Cornwall, last Thursday where they seized 1.6 kilograms of fentanyl, about 200 grams of cocaine and two loaded handguns.
A 38-year old man and 37-year old woman, both from Cornwall, have been charged with several drug and firearm-related charges.
Jarrett Ivan DesRoches has been remanded into custody and will appear in Charlottetown Provincial Court today.
The woman was released on strict conditions and will appear in court on Thursday. Several police units were involved in the investigation from all three Maritime provinces.
