State Funeral for Former PM Brian Mulroney

Family Members, Political Affiliates, and the mourning public attended Former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney’s State Funeral yesterday at the Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal. Mulroney passed at the age of 84 on February 29th while surrounded by his family in Florida. His procession was accompanied by an RCMP Mounted Escort, a Canadian Armed Forces Honour Guard, and the Royal Canadian Air Force band. The first to deliver a eulogy was Mulroney’s daughter and Ontario Cabinet Minister Catherine Mulroney who spoke of memories with her Dad, his goodwill, ambitions, and the unforgettable mark he made on her life and career. Among a diverse group of Canadians, eulogies were also delivered by current Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Hockey Great Wayne Gretzky.
