Two arrested in RCMP drug trafficking investigation

Two people have been arrested as part of an RCMP drug trafficking investigation. Last Friday, the Mounties arrested a 38-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man from West St. Peters after a targeted traffic stop. After the traffic stop, police executed a search warrant at a home in West St. Peters. As a result of the investigation, RCMP seized cocaine, a taser, cash, and contraband cigarettes. The RCMP says the investigation is ongoing.
