An update from Northumberland Ferries. On Monday night, the ferry company announced that due to technical issues, all sailings between Wood Islands and Caribou were cancelled for Tuesday. Now, Northumberland Ferries says that all MV Saaremaa crossings are cancelled up to and including Thursday. That’s because there are issues with two of the four main engines on the MV Saaremaa 1, which is the only vessel that’s been available for service since the MV Confederation was damaged earlier this month. It means that temporarily there is no service between Wood Islands and Caribou. The ferry company says it is working to restore service as soon as possible.
