Questions from both the Liberal Opposition and Third Party Greens in the Legislature Wednesday about a non-disparagement clause included by the Province in the contract with Health PEI CEO Melanie Fraser. The Opposition parties suggest its an effort to stifle criticism. Facing the questions in the Legislature about the inclusion of the non-disparagement clause, Health Minister Mark McLane said these types of clauses are quite common. McLane has also indicated that the clause will not prevent Fraser from disagreeing publicly with the provincial government regarding health care matters.
