Vogue Optical founder Wayne Gray passes away at 76

Vogue Optical founder Wayne Gray passed away Friday at the age of 76.  Wayne Gray was a business leader on PEI, as he and his late wife Doreen were inducted into the Junior Achievement PEI Business Hall of Fame in 2006.  But he was also a community leader – presented with the Canadian Red Cross’ Humanitarian of the Year Award for PEI in 2016, recognition in part for the $1-million gift he and his family made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in 2015 to purchase equipment for its eye surgical unit.  A funeral will be held at Zion Presbyterian Church on Thursday, at 10:30am.
