EXHIBITIONS
“Behind the Panels: Selected Works by Various Island Comic Book Creators” will be on display from June 17th until October 5th, 2018. PEI has a strong presence in the comic book arts world, with a surprising number of Islanders creating in this medium and working in this field. Behind the Panels will “draw” attention to several of these artists. Featured artists are Jeff Alward, Jess Anne, Sandy Carruthers, Brenda Hickey, Tyler Landry, Troy Little, Ramón Sierra, and Jenni Zelin. In July and August, the centre is open Monday to Saturday 9 to 5 and noon to 5 on Sunday. Admission is by donation. The on-site gift shop carries only Island art and craft, as well as books on local themes. Don’t miss the permanent exhibition on the history and architecture of Summerside, too. Eptek Art & Culture Centre is a site of the Prince Edward Island Museum and Heritage Foundation and is located at 130 Heather Moyse Drive on the Summerside waterfront, adjacent to the Harbourfront Theatre. For more information call 902-888-8373 (or visit us online at www.peimuseum.com or www.facebook.com/EptekCentre).
