Island A Cappella in Concert
Island A Cappella invites audiences to shake off the winter chill with Warm Voices for a Cold Day, a joyful afternoon concert of four-part a cappella harmony on Saturday, February 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Park Royal United Church.
The concert features Island A Cappella’s vibrant, multi-generational women’s barbershop chorus, along with special guests quartet Q Knew and multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Ross Malcolm Boyd. Expect uplifting harmonies, heartfelt performances, and a few moments designed to bring the audience into the fun.
Founded in 1982 (originally as the Abegweit Chimes), Island A Cappella has been a beloved part of PEI’s music scene for more than 40 years and is a proud chapter of Harmony, Inc., an international organization dedicated to empowering women through music, education, and friendship.
Tickets are $20, available online via Eventbrite or at the door. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Blooming House Women’s Shelter.
