Air Canada says it will make “meaningful reductions” to its flight schedule in July and August as airports face lengthy delays and cancellations amid a post-pandemic travel surge. Those “meangful reductions” will have some impact on YYG Charlottetown Airport. Charlottetown Airport CEO Doug Newson confirms that one daily flight each to Toronto and Montreal are being eliminated for July and August, as of July 6th. An Air Canada spokesperson says the changes on average will affect 154 flights per day, mainly from its Toronto and Montreal hubs.
