A PEI woman has died after a crash on Highway 104 in Upper Nappan in Cumberland County, Nova Scotia on Monday afternoon. The head-on collision between an SUV and pickup truck happened just before 12:30pm. The driver and sole occupant of the SUV, a 61-year-old PEI woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck, a 59-year-old Stellarton woman, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital by EHS. A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
